Lesson plan ideas by Audrey Farrand

I guess we're supposed to post our ideas and stuff.

Right now we're teaching math and science in our clusters. I assume it would be easiest to make a lesson plan throughmath and science.
-I would try to integrate remote controls so all the kids could answer questions by pressing a button on their control. This way we'd have all the answers on the board and we could make a graph showing the classes data.
-It would be cool to use the white board thing in math so that they could visualize what they were doing and perhaps move it on the screen.
-Perhaps if I was at a school with computers, I would have my class have a science inquiry discussion with some pen pals in another class from a different school or state. They could talk through an online messaging or voice system.

I really don't know what else.

Audrey!

Good ideas Audrey! Remote control & interactive whiteboard (smart board) are good uses of technology.

If you're going to develop the lesson plan from these ideas, it would be helpful to ask yourself some "why" questions in order to think of more details.

For example, why do you want kids have science inquiry discussion with other kids from different states instead of having them discuss with their classmates face to face ?

Good start, Audrey :)
